Very Famous or King Cobras
Extraordinary men in an exceptional Squadron
92 Squadron has had an extraordinary array of individuals in its time; many of whom are world famous, such as Roger Bushell, Brian Kingcome, Neville Duke, and Bob Standford-Tuck and others, who may not be well known to the outside world but are forever King Cobras to those who have served on 92, such as Paddy Hine, Jo Gilbert, John Mitchell, Rick Peacock Edwards, Ali McKay and many others. Simon has researched and published short biographies on some of those Cobras and we are delighted to re-publish them here, and we have added some of our own too. To us they are not only heroes but they are everything that epitomises what being a Cobra is all about.

Three King Cobras amongst this amazing group of World War 2 Fighter Aces. Bartley looking as debonair and handsome as ever, Johnny Kent seeing the funny side whilst puffing on his fag and Brian Kingcome looking as cool as a cucumber. Legends the lot of them!
